5 Principles for Life's Financial Decisions

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

ARE YOU WEARING THE B-A-D-G-E OF GOD? 



There are five principles required to handle life’s financial decisions. I like to refer to them as the B-A-D-G-E! A badge is defined as a means of identification. It lets people know who you identify with.

So, let us look at what the B-A-D-G-E stands for!

B – BUDGET
In order to get the most out of your finances, you have to create and stick to a budget. Not just every now and then, but you must budget consistently. Budgeting provides an understanding of the purpose of every dollar that comes into your possession!

A- ASSETS
Everyone has the ability to earn money, but increasing your wealth is true financial healing. Wealth is defined as your assets minus your liabilities. Thus, the more assets and the less liabilities - the better! Building wealth is the gateway to opportunities.

D - DEBT
Debt is the enemy of financial freedom. Having too much debt or using debt unwisely can cost more than you bargained for. Be mindful of every loan, credit card, or mortgage you obtain. Determine whether the debt will move you closer to your financial healing or further away.

G – GOALS
If you don't know where you are going you won't know how to get there. Many people do not use a holistic approach when it comes to finances and as a result they have investments or assets that do not align with their goals. Simply put, create a plan for your money and even more importantly – for your life!

E – EARNINGS
While wealth builds opportunities, enhancing your earning potential is also key to success. Creating multiple streams of income and increasing your potential to earn more will allow you to obtain a financial healing. Lastly, make certain to partner with God with your earnings. Commit to tithing and stand on His promises, knowing He will open the windows of heaven for you!

THE CURE FOR DECEPTION

Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character  1 Corinthians 15:33 AMPC. The Lord Jesus warned us to be wary of deception. In Matthew 24:4 , He cautions, “... Take heed that no man deceive you .”  In the epistles, the Apostle Paul repeatedly warned of the dangers of deception. Notice what he said in the opening text, “ Do not be so deceived and misled ...”; because it's easy to be deceived. Satan’s capital strategy in derailing Eve was deception. In 2 Corinthians 11:3 , Paul captures it; it says, “ But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ .”  Therefore, by understanding how Satan deceived Eve, you can gain insight into how to stay ahead of him and prevent yourself and others from being deceived. I want to welcome you to today's very special program. This phase is a short one. During the global communion Service on Sunday, I began to talk to you about something.  I asked "where are we on God's timetable?" In God's timeline, where are we? I wanted you to understand some things.  Psalm 102:13 Here the psalmist prays and says something to God. In the spirit, he knew it was the set time for God to favor Zion.  So he says " thou shall arise and have mercy upon Zion. .." This is in reference to Zion/ Israel as a nation. Wherever you are in the world, whichever country you are in, it's important to know what's God plan for your country. Where are you in God's timetable? Does God have a plan? Can his plan be actuated? Across the world, to every nation, it's God's moment and hour to have mercy on all nations and favour all nations.  This is important.
